Identify This Fish and Win a Mustad Gift Pack
Capt. Keith Robbins of Spot Tail Guide Service sent me these pictures of a mystery fish that a friend of his caught recently out of Shilshole. After getting stumped myself on the type of fish we had on our hands I decided to hold a contest. If you are the first to leave a comment on this blog with the correct identification of this fish you will win a gift pack from Mustad. I will include some pre-tied Mustad moching rigs, circle hooks for the upcoming halibut season, swimbait hooks, and some Mustad Ultra Point live bait hooks.
Remember, the first one wins the gift pack from Mustad. Mustad has been making hooks since the 1870's and whether you are the northwest's greatest salmon fisherman or this years Bassmaster Classic winner Kevin VanDam, from freshwater lakes to the open blue ocean, if it swims, Mustad makes the hook to catch'em.
No way I am right this far north, but is it a rooster fish?
Not a rooster, I wish we had those this far north, I know what I would be doing every weekend.

I think Robichaux wins. And with a name like that, he has got to be from Louisiana. Probably south Louisiana.
You know it! Robichaux down there is like a "Smith" up here. There everywhere. Sorry about posting 3 times. I couldnt figure out why it wasnt stayin up there. Then on the 3rd time I saw it had to be viewed first. My bad.
